MURDER IN BLACK SATIN

Murder in Black Satin is a gritty, Italian giallo-inspired mystery-thriller about Moe Saxon, a hard-boiled detective emotionally shattered by the death of his wife and struggling with drugs and alcohol. Moe is drawn into the investigation of a serial killer dubbed “The Soulless Slasher,” whose victims are discovered with their hearts removed. As Moe follows the increasingly disturbing trail of murders, he becomes entangled in a larger conspiracy and discovers that someone has been manipulating events around him.

Blending film noir, grindhouse, slasher, psychological thriller, and giallo influences, Murder in Black Satin follows Moe as he attempts to solve the case while battling his own grief and self-destruction. Directed by Elbert Smith for BRAVE LITTLE SOLDIER ENTERTAINMENT, the film won the 2023 Sessions Lift-Off Film Festival at Pinewood Studios in London, England.
